At Nurturing Futures Academy, our philosophy of loving, care and respect comes first in all our interactions with our children and their families.

CURRICULAR
We offer a rich blend of the international curriculum (Growing Young Minds, GYM). It is carefully curated to meet the needs of your 21st century child. It will give your child the practical and theoretical grounding in Science, Math, Literacy and the Arts while cultivating their interest in sports, public speaking, history, leadership, personal mastery, language, technology and several other areas.

WHAT IS THE ADMISSION PROCESS?It is simple. You can apply online or visit our admin office to fill out an application form. You are required to provide these on return of the form. A copy of your child’s birth certificate Immunization record Previous school report A passport photo of child and parents A testimonial from the previous school A playdate/assessment date will be communicated to you for your child. We enroll children from 6 years.

WHAT IS THE CURRICULUM AND TEACHING APPROACH OF YOUR SCHOOL?We offer a carefully curated blend of the best educational practices in New York State. Its scope includes English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, General Knowledge, Computing, Music, Art & Design, Physical Education, etc. Our teaching approach is child-centered, inquiry-based, play-driven and application-based. This means we encourage our students to ask questions, carry out research, design and create, solve problems, and find solutions. Learning is hands-on, fun, exciting, practical and project driven. We are intentional about meeting the diverse needs, abilities and learning styles of our pupils.

WHAT ARE THE EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES OFFERED AT YOUR SCHOOL?Our school offers a variety of extracurricular activities to enrich the all-round development of our pupils. We are conscious of the place of gifts and talents discovered and nurtured outside the four walls of a classroom. From sports teams to reading and music clubs, we also offer enrichment activities offered daily in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), visual/performing arts, coding, health and wellness, physical education, small group literacy intervention, homework help, gardening, cooking 101, and daily snack.

HOW DO YOU COMMUNICATE WITH PARENTS AND INVOLVE THEM?We are intentional about parent involvement in their children’s learning, development and school community. We communicate daily with parents about the child’s day. Our parents partner with us and support us in every way for homework supervision. We have parent-teacher conferences to discuss your child’s progress. We send daily updates of each day’s activities/engagement. We give prompt feedback on child’s progress and provide mid-term progress reports. We host school events that involve parents, enhance bonds between children and their parents and host supportive parenting seminars.
